Marvel Legends Series Everett Ross & Erik Killmonger Two-Pack

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends MCU Everett Ross and Erik Killmonger two-pack.

Garrrrrghhhhh!!! I'm sorry. I had to let that out. I was looking forward to the Stan Lee BAF. But as you probably know, the parts are not in the two-packs anymore. Hopefully it'll be released one day. It looked a great figure. So without the Stan Lee BAF is this two-pack worth getting? It is if you are collecting the MCU. Everett is a new character and has a different coloured suit. And I think the head sculpts are good.

Everett Ross has a pretty good likeness. There's quite a bit of facial lines on his face. He wears a smirk and seems sure of himself. The eyebrows, eyes and lips were nicely done. He also has a faint five-o'clock shadow. The hair has good shape and detail, and has a bit of black shading in it. The hair wasn't well stuck on on my figure. It doesn't cover fully where it's supposed to and there's a bit of gap visible. You can tell that it is a separate piece. The body reuses the Agent Coulson suited body. Everett's suit is grey in colour and his shirt is a light bluish grey.

Accessories. Everett only comes with a handgun. I believe it's the same one that came with Nick Fury. He is able to hold it quite well.

Erik Killmonger is a  bit of a surprise. I thought he would simply be a repaint with a new unmasked head but that is not the case. The body is essentially the same but has added texture. It's easier for you to see than for me to describe so check out the pics for yourself. Click images to enlarge.

Before I go further I like to make clear that this new figure's suit is dark grey in colour. I have brightened the settings when taking the pics but his suit sometimes may appear black. There are several differences between this and the previous figure. This suit is grey in colour and is textured. The gold of the necklace is of a lighter tone and it has more painted gold lines on the suit. The gold lines means the suit is getting charged up more. The previous figure to me is more screen accurate and I like the look better.

The textured detail can be best seen in the following pic.

A close-up of the unmasked head. I think it has a decent likeness. I would have preferred a different facial expression. He looks blank and distant. The facial hair was all sculpted. The dreadlocks piece has nice detail on it. It was attached better than Everett's hairpiece. The head may be used on the previous figure.

Accessories. Killmonger comes with a masked head, a pair of gripping claw hands, a blade and a hand spear type of weapon.

The weapons have some paint differences. The big blade of this new one is of a darker gun metal tone. The hand spear thingy's yellow wrappings is of a lighter tone and the strings are unpainted.

Articulation

Killmonger has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, butterfly joints, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot.

Everett Ross has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot.

Comparison shots. I think Everett should be a little shorter.

I'm quite happy with Everett and for the unmasked Killmonger head. Thanks for viewing!

The figures in Marvel Legends Series are well produced and most of the sculpts have great likeness..
