Anime X Stamps Exhibition

Went down to check out the Anime X Stamps Exhibition which is happening from now till 1 April 2018 at the Singapore Philatelic Museum (SPM). The exhibition did not disappoint. There was quite a lot to see. Numerous anime stamps are featured, and also toys, collectables, costumes, props, sketches and production notes. Pics within.

It's hard to miss the Dragon Ball display at the atrium.

SPM has got a new mascot for the exhibition. Her name is Fifi and she was designed by Gravitine. Templates can be found at this display where you can create your own character. Paper and pencils are provided for your use. I wanted to do one but the area was constantly occupied when I was there.

Here's a full body pic of Fifi. I wonder what her pet is called.

The main exhibition room now. The displays are informative, colourful and well organised. There's an Anime Timeline which really takes me back. You can see stuff from Astro Boy, Doraemon, Gatchaman, Pokemon, One Piece and Naruto just to name a few.

There's a section where you can see production materials from Naruto. They include storyboards, character settings, layouts and backgrounds.

Not forgetting the dedicated displays for Studio Ghibli.

Any others? Well here's a sample.

That's all for now. Thanks for viewing!
