Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Series 6" Taskmaster.
The figure is of Taskmaster based on his appearance on the Ultimate Spider-man series. He's wearing an armoured suit while still spotting his trademark hood and skull face. If you ask me a highly trained person like him doesn't need the armour. The head sculpt is nice. I love the depth of the eye holes and the sculpted teeth on the mask. It's very well painted with a gold tinged silver. The head is stuck to the hood. The white hood and the colour of his mask don't match well with the rest of his suit and looks a little out of place. The body reuses the Bucky Captain America torso with new arms and legs. The swirly plastic was used for the armoured parts. The swirly lines are a little distracting to me. True to the show his knuckles are plated. That's some attention to detail for you. The paint apps are good. There's just one or two blemishes on the white of the upper torso. The shoulder holsters and the belt are separate pieces.
Accessories. He comes with an alternate Udon mask head, a sword and a shield. The sword I recall was used in the Ultimate Spider-man series. It functions like a lightsaber, hence the orange translucent blade. There's nice detail on the handle. The shield is one of Taskmaster's commonly used equipment. It has great paints apps. It functions the same way as Captain America's. You can clip it at his wrist or peg it on his back. The BAF piece is the head of Red Onslaught.
Here's how he looks with the Udon mask. He wore the Udon costume for a time in the comics. Is Udon an actual type mask or costume? Curious I tried to Google it and as expected, what came up were noodles. Anyway, the head sculpt is nice and has good detail. It kinda reminds me of General Grievous. Like the default head, the head is tuck to the hood. The colours of this Udon head go along well with the body and is more of the comic look. I'll probably keep him like this.
Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed knees, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and a figma type ankle joint. Yup you read that correctly, a figma tpe join. The ankle can swivel, has a hinge and has pivot. Fantastic! I never expected to see this on a Marvel Legends figure. He can look up and down well.
Comparison shots.
Great figure! It was a surprise to see his ankle articulation and I hope that that sort of articulation gets used more often. Thanks for viewing!

Udon was the name of the art studio that did the last batch of issues on the first regular Deadpool series, and some of Agent X. It was several guys, and I'm not sure which one of 'em redesigned Taskmaster's mask, but it's named after them!
Thanks for the info googum!
Nice!!!! Always loved Taskmaster.
