Marvel Legends Series 6" Morbius (Villains of the Night)

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Series 6" Morbius.

Morbius is one figure I was excited for. The previous one was in need of replacement and now I can finally move him out. This one is simply gorgeous. He's got a great head sculpt. I think they captured his look well. I really like his fearsome face with the bright red open mouth and teeth showing. Aside for the "vampire" teeth, the rest of it look to be painted on. The overall look is great. The beard was painted on. The hair has good detail and feels very solid. The front locks are a little flexible and allow for head rotation. There's a gap in the hair to allow his pointy ears to protrude out. The body reuses the Bucky Captain America body. The collar piece was seamlessly added on to the torso. His attire is all black with a red belt painted on. He has claw like hands and I like that they painted in his nails. His skin is dirty white. One minor gripe is that the neck and wrists hinges did not get a black wash and look out of place in certain poses.

Accessories. He comes with two capes, one hanging and the other opened and expanded. Both capes are red inside and black on the outside. The hanging cape has nice wrinkly fabric detail. The open one has subtle lines and wrinkles which follow appropriately to how the cape is stretched. With the shape there's only one good pose to use the open cape with is and that is with his arms up.

The BAF parts are a wooden right arm and a rocky left arm. They both have great detail on them and also some shading.

The shape of the open cape looks rather familiar. Wonder where I have seen that shape before.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, calf swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. He cannot look up much. The collar does not interfere much with head rotation.

Comparison shots.

Great figure! This just might be my favourite of this wave! Thanks for viewing!
