DC Collectibles The New Batman Adventures (TNBA) Killer Croc & Baby Doll

"Batman came sniffing around the quarry you see. He was getting closer. And closer. And then I threw a rock at him!" Lol. That was one of the most memorable lines. Though it was actually Batman who said it. Here's a look at Killer Croc and Baby Doll.

I don't know about you but I prefer his Animated Series appearance. This look reminds me more of one of Poison Ivy's creations. Still he's a great looking figure. He's big and imposing. And looks really mean. I like the sculpted teeth. His small red eyes were well painted. The body is plain and just has some scales on it. Only the scales at his abs area were sculpted. The rest were painted on. There's some shading at the torso which helps the shape of it stand out. The pants he's wearing has just a bit of wrinkle detail. I like that the nails on his hands were painted. I feel they could have done some shading for his feet to help the toes stand out.

Baby Doll like Killer Croc is the first figure we're getting based on the TNBA appearance. You have to feel for her you know. Being stuck in a child's body and always being treated as such. I wished she and Croc could have lived happily together. The figure has got a great head sculpt. I think the likeness is good. She has big eyes, a little nose and a smile with a hint of mischief. The hair was well done. There's even the purple bands for her pigtails. She wears a lovely pink dress which has the lace at her sleeves. Her socks also has the laces as well. That's attention to detail for you. Her legs are of different lengths and she cannot stand at all. Even with proper length legs she still might not be able to stand due to her head and hair.

Accessories. They come with a chicken, a wad of a cash, a milk, a ball, extra gripping hands for Killer Croc, a base and a stand. The ball has a hole in it where gas is released from like in the episode "Love is a Croc".  Baby Doll is unable to hold any of the accessories on her own.

Articulation. Killer Croc has a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint torso with ab crunch, peg hinge hips, calf swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. The whole head rotates and he cannot look to the sides.

Baby Doll has a ball joint neck, peg shoulders, waist rotation and peg hips.

Comparison shots.

Great figures both! Before I end I like to wish all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Thanks for viewing!

Great shots as always. Your blog should be littered with comments. It is one of the best for reviews on the net.

I really want this one, but of the two DC Collectibles figures I have one broke immediately, and DC Collectibles has yet to rectify the situation. So I may be done with this line, as I am not about to throw good money at bad product and bad customer service.

Thanks for the kind words Hobgoblin.

@Eric - I can understand that. I had other DCC figures break on me. It's so far so good with the Animated lines.
