Marvel Avengers Infinite Series 3.75" Deathlok

Here's a look at the 3.75" Deathlok.

I don't know much about Deathlok. I think the last I saw him was in Maximum Carnage. I Googled and found out that that was a different person and not Luther Manning as described on the back of the card. Anyway, the figure has a nice head sculpt. There's strong facial lines and some scarring. That along with his gritted teeth gives him a pretty mean look. The paint is nice. His face is brown and it changes into a lighter brown near his hairline and ears. I would have preferred his skin to be greenish grey. I also would have liked if he had pupils painted in. His close cropped hair was sculpted and well painted. The torso uses Cable's body with the limbs mostly new. There's good detail on his metal parts. I especially like the line detail on the back of his hands. The belt is the same as Cable's. He wears a pack on his back. The paint apps are good. The American flag was well printed on.

His pack is removable. I got a little excited seeing the peg on the side. I was hoping that a gun could be stored there. Unfortunately it cannot.

Speaking of guns, he comes with two of them. They are the same ones that came with Cable except these are light bluish grey in colour. Both weapons have good detail on them. I would have liked if they had some paint detail. The handgun can be stored in his holster.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, elbow hinge, wrist swivel, torso pivot, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, and ankle hinge and pivot. He cannot raise his arms fully due to the shoulder pads of his pack. The elbow hinge has reduced use due to the gauntlet on his forearm.

Comparison shots.

I quite like the figure but would have preferred if things were done a little differently as mentioned. Thanks for viewing!

I like the poseability of this figure and the details are really nice buy I think I still like the design of the old toybiz figure better.

@Toku - fan of the show too. Hoping for a figure of Coulson at least.

@Brothermidnight - Same here. Now that you mention it, maybe metallic paint would make this figure more appealing.

@Hobgoblin238 - Thanks. Hope you get him.
