Thor: The Dark World Thor (Lightning-Bolt Hammer)

It's the turn of the main character. Here's Thor bringing the lightning.

If you've watched the movie, you'll find that at no point did he wear his winged helmet. This figure has him wearing it. It looks a little too big but at least it's better than the "Cerebro" helmet on the first Thor movie figures. I plan to do a head swap to get a more movie accurate look and also because I find the gentle facial expression he has on doesn't suit him. There are two figures of Thor released so far in the line. I picked up this one as he's wearing his full armor and I'm more likely to display it. There's lots of great sculpted detail on it and it's also very well painted. The flap at the lower half of his body armor is flexible and allows for leg articulation. He has a little trouble standing up straight and tends to fall backwards due to his cape.

Accessories. He comes with a bluish translucent Mjolnir with lightning-bolts protruding from it. It looks more like a frost hammer to me. Maybe it would look better if it had some grey on it. Thor's grip of Mjolnir is quite loose in his right hand and he can't hold it in his left.

Articulation. He's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, wrist swivel, 360 degrees type hips with hinge, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. The armor at his shoulders extend out too much and he can't raise his arms straight up.

I'm using the Avengers movie Thor figure's head and Mjolnir in some of the pics in case you're wondering.

Comparison shots. This figure is taller than the first movie version and the same height as the Avengers version. I just noticed that all the capes of the Thor figures flow to his right side.

This figure would be more appealing if it had the unhelmeted head sculpt and a normal looking Mjolnir. It's still a nice figure though. Thanks for viewing!

Hi, may I know how did you manage to put head from Thor avenger figure onto this Thor Dark World figure? Can the head, arms and legs be easily taken off and put back? Kindly advise as I would also like to do such customization. Thanks.
