I liked the comic and I liked the animated movie which was released not long ago. Getting this figure was one of my few DC figure priorities.
Batman in this story is bigger. Hence the figure too is bulked up. This was done partly by using some similar parts from a Masters of the Universe Classics (MOTUC) figure. I think the body is a little too muscular though. He's got a great head sculpt. It's shape looks exactly like from the comic. And the grimace on his face suits him. His detailed belt and trunks were made with a soft rubbery material. The cape was also made with a soft material. It's big and wide which suits action poses but not standing ones. The paint is good overall. There's just some bleeding at his mask and gloves. The logo was well painted on.
Comparison with the MOTUC He-man. The arms and the legs most notably are similar.
He comes with a batarang. It looks kind of like a comb or moustache.
Articulation. He's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, single hinge elbows, wrist swivel, ab crunch, waist rotation, peg hinge hips, thigh swivel, single hinge knees, calf swivel and ankle hinge. I would have liked if he could lift his legs up more.

Great figure. I hope Mattel releases a couple more characters in the Dark Knight Returns style to go along with it. Thanks for viewing!

Awesome! I would hope the Mutant Leader. One of the indelible impressions of my youth is them getting it on in the mud.
Mutant Leader would be nice. Don't think he's ever been done before.
