GIJoe Classified Series Alvin "Breaker" Kibbey with RAM Cycle

Here's a look at the GIJoe Classified Series Breaker and Ram Cycle.

You know I never did like the original batch of RAH Joes. I felt they were rather plain looking. Breaker here is still quite drab but at least he's more interesting thanks to his updated gear. The vest is new and has some nice detail on it. Those are some big pouches he has on the front. The vest is also textured in some areas. The body uses the Beachhead body with the arms from Duke. The arms hang a little far from his body for my liking. They have to stop giving figures just one elbow pad or whatever piece of gear on one side only. I find that annoying. The boots are different. There are no shin guards. It's just a good pair of laced up boots. He's got a nice head sculpt. He reminds me of someone which I just can't put my finger on. He has the appearance of a middle age person. I like his combed back hair. Great detail.

Some close-ups of his face. His facial hair is a mess. It's uneven. Especially on his left side. There's even a gap... The eyes are quite fuzzy. Fortunately it's not bad when you view him from a distance.

Accessories. He comes with a helmet and a gatling gun. And of course the Ram Cycle. I would have liked if he came with a backpack and a pistol at least. He can't be lugging the gatling gun around. There's not a lot of detail on the gatling gun but it looks really good. The barrels can be rotated which is a nice feature.

The helmet is really cool. I love the polarised lenses. I like the metallic purple and blue used. The helmet has an inbuilt comms unit on his right side. There's even an antenna. On his left is what looks like a video recorder.

If I remember correctly R.A.M stands for Rapid Fire Motorcycle. It's so named for the sidecar with the gatling gun. But you already know that. Seeing this really takes me back. I didn't have a RAM but I had some other green vehicles such as Sky Hawk and Vamp. The decals would peel off and leave a sticky residue. There won't be such issues here as the logos and such were all nicely printed on. I like that the engine and exhaust pipes are of different colours. Previously practically the whole vehicle can be of one colour.

Some pics of the motorcycle first. The RAM has some large tyres.

On the dashboard you'll find sculpted gauges. The handles are movable which makes it easier to adjust the figure to hold them. There is steering so the front wheel may be turned either side a little.

To insert the gatling gun, simply align the handle and the large peg and you're good to go. Making the gatling gun removable is a really cool feature. Love it!

Some more views of the RAM. The seat is textured and is quite rough.

Here's how it looks with Breaker riding. Without the sidecar the motorcycle is unable to stand on its own and will require the use of the stand to support it. At full use the stand raises the motorcycle very slightly above ground.

Articulation. Breaker has a ball hinge upper neck, ball joint lower neck, ball hinge shoulders, butterfly joints, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge right wrist, swivel and up and down hinge left wrist, ab crunch, ball joint waist, ball hips with drop down hinge, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, boot swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look up and down well. With the vest he's not going to be able to bend forward or back much.

Comparison shots.

This is a great set. The RAM cycle looks good. I especially love the removable gatling gun. Breaker is good too. I just wish he came with a couple more accessories. It would make the set more worth it. Now hopefully we get a vehicle which is not a motorcycle the next release. Thanks for viewing!

  1. Can Roadblock hold the minigun, à la TF2 Heavy Weapons Guy?

  2. @foldabotZ - Yes, Roadblock can hold the gatling gun. The grip is very tight but is doable.

  3. Wow. Amazing set. Too bad it's a Target exclusive. I guess I'll be patient.

  4. The head reminds me of Jake Gyllenhall (Mysterio from Spider-Man Far From Home). Any chance we can see his head on the Mysterio body? Thank you for the reviews! :)
