Gobby, Gwen and Peter. Let's go!
Spidey is a lucky guy. First MJ and now Gwen. While we're at it how about some family? Aunt May would be nice. Maybe the comic head can be included with the MCU version. Here's hoping.
This is the first proper Gwen Stacy figure we've gotten (Spider-Gwen doesn't count. For me at least). And she's in her iconic outfit. Who can forget it? The head sculpt is nice. She has a cheerful and youthful appearance. The eyes and lips were well done. There's good detail in her windswept hair. Her torso is new. Her black top is textured. Very nice! Her skirt too is new. It's a simple plain purple skirt made out of soft vinyl. It will restrict leg articulation unfortunately. There is a slit on her right side of it so you can get a little more range from her right leg. The top of her boots were painted. It could have been done better. They are not of the same level as you can see. Her trenchcoat is also new. It has a natural look and feel to it. Love that they did the belt hanging across the back of the trenchcoat.

Accessories. She comes with a Mary Jane head, a Midtown High School book, a light blue folder and a rolled up Daily Bugle newspaper.
MJ's head is a nice inclusion. While her head looks great on the body I feel it's is not suitable for her as the look is too much associated with Gwen. Maybe if the colours were different. MJ looks great. This is more of her classic look. She has the straight hair and has a youthful appearance. The eyes and lips were done very well. Her only visible eyebrow looks a little awkward. Like it was drawn on. There's good detail for her hair and I like that it's got some shading in it. Her hair gets a little squeezed by the trenchcoat and you'll find that she tends to look to her right.
Some head comparisons. The Gwen on the left in the pic below is a custom with the Spider-Gwen head untouched.
MJ's head can fit onto the body from the two-pack. There's quite a noticeable difference in skin tone though.
Next up Peter Parker.
Peter Parker was one of the first figures I picked up back in the 90s. He was readily available, even when on clearance. I have a feeling this figure will head down a similar path. Just that this time people will pick him up when he does go on clearance for that nice, casual civilian body he's on. The body reuses the Stan Lee body with the Netflix Iron Fist sneakers. Sneakers aside the look is very much how Peter dresses in the comics. It also reminds me of the look he had in the "Spider-man and his Amazing Friends" cartoon. The head spoils his look for me. That's due to the large white glasses. I know he used to wear glasses in the early comics but this just looks out of place. They look more like goggles. What's worse is that they were stuck on. He actually has a nice head sculpt behind them which you can see further down. He has painted eyes and all.
Close-ups of his head. They actually made a slot in his hair for his glasses. If we were to pry them out there would be a gap. I wish they could have made it removable, like they did with Mockingbird.
Accessories. He comes with a Spider-man and Peter Parker composite head and a camera.
The composite head is typically seen when his spider sense starts tingling. They did the head well. The two halves are quite level with each other. His unmasked side has an anxious expression. I'm sure they must have done up the whole unmasked head of this and I hope we get it in the future.
The unmasked head from the MJ two-pack may be used on this figure.
And here's how it compares with the new head. The hair and sculpt is different. This new one has his hair neatly combed back and has a neutral expression. Really wish that the glasses were removable.
The new head may be used on the retro Spidey as well.
Just to show him with his camera. He's able to grip it well. I would have liked if it came with a strap. Like on the 90s Toy Biz figure.
Last one.
Green Goblin is a repaint of the previous figure with a new head sculpt. Gobby here is in his classic look. I feel that the figure is based more on his appearance in the 90s Spider-man cartoon and also the 90s Toy Biz figure rather than from the comics. I say that because of the brighter colour tones used. I think he's got a great head sculpt. I like the details of his mask. The facial features were well done. The teeth were sculpted. The ears are long and pointy. I like that his eyes are nice and big. You can make them out even from a distance. The "collar" is a separate piece. It moves around quite a bit and you'll want to watch its position when posing.
Smile!
Accessories. He comes with a Norman Osborn head, a pumpkin bomb and his glider.
The glider is similar to the one we've seen previously. They've made a modification and that is to put a hole on the bottom. So if you have a ball peg stand you can now pose Gobby with his glider on it.
The stand from Demogoblin can be used. It needs some effort though. I don't recommend simply forcing it in. Instead work the ball in in a circular sort of motion. Be careful not to break the neck of the stand.
The glider and Osborn's head are nice inclusions. I hope they make a Harry Osborne head in the future.
Norman Osborn looks good. The likeness is good and I really like how his hair turned out. It's textured and has the lines just like in the comics. The head may be used on the suited body. Now I need to track down another Professor X...
Articulation
Gwen has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. She can look up quite decently in spite of her hair. She can look down fine. The torso joint allows her the slant her body to the sides okay. She can hardly bend forward. She can bend back more. The skirt restricts leg articulation. Aside for simple walking poses there's not much she can do. With MJ's head she can look up a little. And she can look down okay. Head rotation is hindered by her hair and the collar.
Peter has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel and up and down hinge right wrist, swivel hinge left wrist, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot.
Green Goblin has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, boot swivel and ankle hinge and pivot.
Comparison shots.
Gwen is good. Peter and Gobby are okay. I like that they included the heads for MJ and Norman Osborn. Oh and the glider is a nice upgrade. Now to find another stand... Thanks for viewing!
