Blink and Skullbuster. Let's go!
To be honest, I don't know much about these two characters. Especially Skullbuster. So from the back of the package, he's said to be a member of the Reavers. Now I've heard of the group and even recognise some of the characters from my Google search. I think I had some of the animated series Toy Biz figures. Guess I never really took interest in the them. It's a different story now. In fact I've learnt more about some characters after getting the figure. So you see buying toys makes you read more. Lol.
Skullbuster reuses the Deathlok body. With him being a cyborg it works, and he looks pretty good. The vest is new and unique. On one side you have the spiked shoulder cover and on the other you have a bottle cap. Lol. There's great detail on his vest. In addition to the pockets and pouches, there's a knife and a couple of ammo clips sculpted on. To top off his attire he's wearing a bandolier across his chest. I like that they painted the ammo. He has a great head sculpt. He looks very menacing. A skull is painted on his face and there's a crack in the design. There's a bit of shading done on it and I like that they smudged the paint. It makes it more realistic.
The jacket is removable. You can change up his look if you like.
Accessories. He comes with a Murray Reese head and a gun. The gun is the same one that came with Deathlok. The included BAF part is the right arm of Caliban.

Reese is another member of the Reavers. Like Skullbuster he too is a cyborg. He's wearing a transparent helmet with communication equipment attached. It has nice detail on it.
Update 18 April 19 - The transparent portion of the helmet is removable and now we can get a better look at the head sculpt. Reese looks a seasoned soldier. There's a scar on his right cheek. I like the detail of his hair.
Now Reese does not wear the same attire as Skullbuster. So I looked around so see if there was any other figure to use for him. Nuke looked a good candidate for his military attire so I tried a head swap. And what do you know, the head fits. And he looks good too. I might get another Nuke for this purpose.

Pic request from Unknown. Thanks for the suggestion. I've forgotten about the Juggernaut wave Cable. I may display Reese like this since I'm not using this figure currently.
Next up Blink.
Blink is a pretty simple figure. The body reuses Psylocke's body. Her choker, belt with skirt and boot tops are separate pieces. I like that they painted the studs on both the choker and belt. I also like the twist in the skirt which helps a lot with action poses. She's got a nice head sculpt. I love her pointy ears. The paint around here eyes and the markings on her face were well done. I like the shape of her hair too.
Accessories. She comes with two crystal like shards and a teleportation portal effect piece. The shards are actually her portal ability focused into weapons. She can hold them well in her hands. The included BAF part is the left leg of Caliban.
The teleportation piece is quite small. The max size of someone it can allow is the Bucky Cap body which is a tight squeeze. You can only use it on the lower body with larger characters. Blink has no problem going through.
Articulation
Blink has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot.
Skullbuster has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel and up and down hinge right wrist, swivel hinge left wrist, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, boot swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. The shoulder covers restrict him from raising his arms fully.
Comparison shots.
Both are nice figures. Thanks for viewing!
I;d like to see that Reese head on the modern Cable body from the Juggernaut BAF wave.
