Marvel Legends Series Ultimate Riders Deadpool with Scooter (Deadpool Corps)

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Deadpool with scooter.

Deadpool is pretty much the same figure as the one we got in the Juggernaut BAF series. There are a couple of differences. One of them being a new head sculpt. His eyes are wide and you can make out the shape of his mouth through his mask here. He looks like he's screaming. Another difference is the colour tones. They are brighter and more vibrant. I like it. And to round off there's the silver strap piece and belt which we've seen previously in the Deadpool / Warpath two-pack.

Vehicles and play sets have been sorely lacking so I really like the Ultimate Riders line. We got a couple of motorcycles, Professor X's hover chair and now Deadpool's Vespa scooter. This is going to be fun. Just peg in the rear-view mirrors, clip on the horn and we're good to go.

Deadpool comes with two gold swords with sheaths and a dagger. The sheaths peg into the strap Deadpool is wearing. They don't stay on very well. We also get the head of Hydra Bob, Dogpool and Squirrelpool.

Also included is a sticker sheet to decorate the scooter with. There's some nice ones here. They actually used the BAF Rhino's face on one. Lol. I'm going to hold back putting them on for now. I was thinking of finding some of my own to use in addition like a proper unicorn and a Hello Kitty.

Bob's head was really well done. Love the expression and I love the silver eyes. The green tone of his mask is lighter than that of both the Mandroid series and the two-pack versions. It's closer to the Mandroid version so I'll be using that body for Bob.

Dogpool is really cute and has a friendly appearance. Love the shiny helmet. There's nice fur detail on his body. His attire looks very nice. He actually has some articulation. There's head rotation, forearm swivel and waist rotation. None in the legs unfortunately so he's pretty much is stuck in the clinging on pose. There's a hole at his bottom for which you can peg him onto the scooter.

Squirrelpool too has nice fur detail. I like how the mask turned out. You can make out his cute little nose through it. I also like his mini swords. The straps for them were sculpted. On his chest is a peg for which you peg him onto Dogpool. You can also peg him onto the backs of figures if they have holes on them. For articulation, Squirrelpool has only neck rotation.

Here's a look at the scooter. Love the sculpted Deadpool logo on the front. The tyres are actually made of rubber! Wow! Haven't come across rubber tyres on a toy for a long time. That big exhaust is only on one side.

A closer look at the seat. It's textured and it looks like leather. And there's the peg for Dogpool. There are pegs on the flooring which are not really usable by the seated character.

You'll find a speedometer on the dashboard. Here you can see where the rear-view mirrors peg in. The horn may be clipped on either side. The steering works and you can turn the front wheel a little bit each side.

Deadpool and most regular sized figures can sit comfortably on the scooter.

With passengers the swords tend to get in the way and drop off easily. Dogpool and Squirrelpool are quite secure at their spots.

Articulation. Deadpool has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel double jointed knees, boot swivel and ankle hinge and pivot.

Comparison shots. The red tone on this figure is different from all the Deadpools we got previously. The closest match would have to be the 90s Deadpool from the Sasquatch BAF series.

Great figure and scooter. I like Dogpool and Squirrelpool as well. This is a fun set. Thanks for viewing!

  1. This looks like a fun set. Fun photos too. Thought they had jumped the shark with too many Deadpool figures but fun to see them all riding the scooter on that last photo.
