Marvel Legends Series Winter Soldier & Falcon Two-Pack

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends MCU Winter Soldier and Falcon from the new two-pack.

Winter Soldier is the main reason for getting this two-pack. The figure is based on his appearance in Avengers: Infinity War (IW). It's a mostly new figure. There's some parts reused, such as the head and metal arm. They really should have given him a new head sculpt as this one is not screen accurate. In IW he had a beard and more facial hair. I do like the lighter skin tone I must say. The metal arm turned out fine. I like the gun metal colour and the gold lining. The torso and legs are new. There's great sculpted detail on them. His jacket is textured. There's lots of wrinkles on his pants and you can also make out the seams.

A quick comparison. I'm quite disappointed they did not update the head sculpt.

Accessories

Winter Soldier comes with a rifle and a machine gun.

I'm putting Falcon's accessories up now as I only took the one pic. Falcon comes with his backpack, undeployed Redwing and wings. There's no Redwing with wings deployed which is disappointing.

The rifle is the same one that came with the Mandroid series Winter Soldier. I like the colour scheme of this one as it matches his metal arm.

Falcon is a repaint of the figure which we got previously.

Here are the paint differences. The grey of this suit is of a darker tone. Metallic red paint is used on this figure. There's more silver applied on his forearm bracers. His boots here are of a metallic gun metal colour.

His backpack too has paint differences. It's of a darker tone with this figure and the red too is of the metallic type.

There's no really noticeable paint difference for the wings.

Articulation

Winter Soldier has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel with up and down right wrist. swivel hinge left wrist, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, boot swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look up and down well. The ab crunch allows two clicks forward and one click back.

Comparison shots.

The figures are okay. It's great for those who don't already have the characters. Even so it's best to wait for a discount before getting this. Thanks for viewing!

  2. Very nice set. I was going to pass on it myself since I already have a Winter Soldier and Falcon, but these sculpts/paint apps look a bit different and really nice.
