Here's a look at the Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Deadpool.

By now I'm sure you've seen this Deadpool figure and are aware of the aesthetic issues. That is the double revolver joints at the shoulders. They make him look unsightly in some poses. I can't stand them too. But on the plus side, there are some amazing poses you can get him into. I'm more bothered with the size of his head. It's too small for my liking. It does have nice nice detail on it. You can see the seams in the mask. The body looks great. There's nice wrinkle detail in his costume. The straps, belt, weapons and pouches were all sculpted and have good detail. I'm not pleased with the dangling gun holster and pouches at his belt. They are on revolver joints which I think are unnecessary. You'll notice three holes in his back and one on his pouch. It looks unsightly but there's a use for them. They are so you can peg him onto the included stand and have him do mid-air poses. They are also so to peg the sword sheaths in his back. The paint apps are good. I quite like the shiny look of his costume. The red sections have a bit of black wash which is nice.
Accessories. He comes with an additional head, three extra sets of hands (gripping/gun holding hands, open hands and thumbs up hands), two guns, 2 swords, equipable sheaths, three sets of extra eyes, an eye remover tool and a "swoosh" effect base.
He also comes with a base and stand. A great thing about it is that you can plug the peg directly into the back of the figure and it will hold. You don't really need to use the clip.
The heads are similar to one another. The one main difference is that his mouth is visible through his mask on one of them.
Deadpool has very expressive eyes in whatever medium he appears in and I'm happy that several different sets of eyes are included for use with the figure. The below are his neutral eyes and wide eyes.
The following are his squinty eyes. They look similar but the set on the right has an angrier appearance due to there being more downward slant in his eyes.
And last but not least, the eyes with hearts in them. They will make for some fun scenes.
A tool is provided in order to help you switch the eyes. You just need to push them out from the back. Be sure to do it on a table. You don't want to lose any of the eyes.
The sheaths are non functional. The swords cannot be stored in them. Even if they could, they are of a shorter length and would not be able to store the whole sword. The handles on the sheaths have no blades and are removable so you can have him appear that he is using the swords. The actual swords by the way have good sculpted detail on the handles and were made with pretty rigid plastic.
Articulation. There are revolver joints at the neck, elbows, wrists, torso, knees and ankles, The shoulders have double revolver joints, hence they are noticeable and the arms seem disconnected from the body in certain poses. The elbow joints can sometimes look awkward as well. There are ball joint hips and thighs. The ankles pivot and there's toe hinge. The pouches and knee pads are also on revolver joints. The joints for the pouches I feel are not needed. They do not really hinder leg articulation. The joints make the gear at his waist look unnecessarily wide and at time out of position. He can do many great poses. It's just how you hide the joints from view.
Comparison shots. I think he fits in okay with Marvel Legends figures. His body maybe is a little too bulky. I quite like how he "pops" with his brighter and glossy colour tones.
I think Deadpool is a great figure overall. Thanks for viewing!
Outstanding pics! On the fence on buying this one, but you really make it look great!
