Mystery no more! The Exclusive SJ50 MY FIRST BE@ARBRICK BABY 400% as well as its 100% counterpart were unveiled for the first time to the world today at the Singapore Toy Game and Comic Convention (STGCC). The figure is a tribute to the 50th Anniversary of Singapore-Japan Diplomatic Relations.
Limited quantities were available for pre-order at STGCC. It's no wonder I saw long queues early on in the day. The 400% sold out very quickly.....
Displayed along with the SJ50 MY FIRST BE@ARBRICK BABY were its predecessors. There was the 15th Anniversary Pearl version, Colette version, Pearl Orange version and the Pearl Navy version. All not for sale unfortunately.
Also at the booth is this gorgeous SJ50 display of BE@RBRICKS. There must be hundreds there! Pretty!
There will be a SJ50 Matsuri event in Singapore. It will be held from 29 - 30 October 2016 at the Civic Plaza Outdoor Courtyard Ngee Ann City. There's going to be traditional and pop Japanese culture, live performances, demonstrations, talk shows, food and drinks. Mark the date!
