Marvel Legends Series 3.75" Armoured Spider-man

Switching over to the 3.75" Marvel Legends line. Here's a look at the armoured Spider-man.

The Armoured Spider-man is one of my most wanted versions of him. It's another step closer to completing all of his costumes before the events of Spider-verse in the 3.75" scale. The other main one I would love to get is the Cosmic Spidey. Also the Ends of Earth armour. Oh and the Superior Spider-man. And... Oops looks like there's still some way to go. Lol. This figure looks great. There's lots of great sculpted detail. The lines on the armour were all sculpted, as are the spider logos on the front and back. I wish they gave the body of the spider logo in front more shape rather than a narrow straight body. The black areas of his suit is textured which is nice. One thing that bothers me a little is the shape of his head. It looks too ovalish and longish.

Articulation. He's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, ball hips, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. He can look down a bit. The elbows cannot even bend 90 degrees.

Comparison shots.

Nice figure! Articulation is lacking but I'm glad to have this version of Spider-man. Thanks for viewing!

  1. AHHH, it's finally happening! Sort of. They've had a weird history with this version, in figure form. First one had a stupid missile-launching arm, then the next one they do - in the midst of super articulation and Marvel Legends - they made him have ANOTHER missile-launching arm! So this is the first armored Spider-Man to finally launch nothing and have TWO functioning arms! Now we just need a 6 inch version and my old childhood favorite will finally have something decent at both scales.

  2. I had the original Animated series figure of Armor Spidey when I was little and loved that figure. Pretty bummed this one doesn't have at least a waist swivel, but I'm holding out hope that we'll eventually get a ML of this costume and Noir Spider-man.

  3. I still have the Animated the Toy Biz 5" version. It looks good to me. Agree about the action feature but it was fun for the time. Same here hoping for ML Armoured and Noir Spider-man.
