STGCC 2015: XM Studios and Hand Made Objects(HMO)

XM Studios put up another impressive display at STGCC. The winner of Best Statue Company 2014 as voted by Statueforum showed us why they are deserving of the title with their various high quality and amazingly detailed statues and busts.

Their statues are in very high demand. The queue to pre-order them formed within the first half hour of the doors opening and snaked halfway round the event hall.

One of the exclusives available for pre-order is Ghost Rider. I heard that the pre-orders for it were sold out for the event. I would love to have seen an actual piece. It looks fantastic!

On display were several new items such as Ant Man, Dr Strange, Daredevil, Elektra and Medusa to name a few.

There were also the unpainted work-in-progress statues of Doctor Octopus and Kraven the Hunter.

We also got a look at the 1/4 scale busts of the Lizard and Rhino.

XM Studios revealed at STGCC their new line of Batman based statues. They will a Japanese influence. The designs for 6 of the characters have been revealed so far. You can check them out here.

There was also a display of Star Wars statues. No photos were allowed of them unfortunately. There was what I think will be an evolution of Darth Vader set and Boba Fett.

It's been just over a year since this project, in collaboration with Hand Made Objects (HMO) started but now the team's all here. Well all except for Falcon but he will be along shortly. Avengers Assemble!

Black Widow and Hawkeye look good together!

HMO had on display their next figure from their Retro Reboot line, Rastan based on the game of the same name.

They also showcased their new line of Beastly Beauties 1/2 scale busts. Seen below are Medusa (left) and Siren.

And here's Dante from Devil May Cry which is part of their Gaming Legends line.
