SDCC 2015 Marvel Legends Book of the Vishanti Magik

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Book of the Vishanti Magik.

This is one of those figures you see and like straight away. It's like she stepped right out of the comics. Simply a great looking figure! She's got a great head sculpt. She has a youthful appearance. The paint application for her face is good. There's just a small blemish on her right eye which fortunately is not that noticeable. Her horns are attached at the back of her head. There are gaps in her hair which allow for them. Her hair has good detail and there's a little light yellow shading on it. Magik is in her current costume. The body shares similar parts with Spidergirl. Her upper torso and left arm are new. She wears a black leather top. You can see the seams on it. On her her right sleeve is a red painted "X" symbol. The flesh tone on her right arm is not thick enough and the base black is showing through. They did an excellent job with her left arm. There's lots of great sculpted detail and it has spikes protruding from it. The paint makes it even more awesome. It's dark metallic grey with black shading. Fantastic! The thick belt is a separate piece. I like that it's got silver paint detail for the buckle and belt holes.

A closer look at her left arm. Just love it!

Accessories. She comes with two weapons, one of which is her Soulsword. It is primarily used against magical uses and beings. The handle has good sculpted detail. Though it appears with a blue tint in the pics, the blade is actually translucent white. The black design on it was sculpted.

She carries another sword. It has peg like rivets on the handle. Her grip on both swords is loose in her right hand. They are more secure with her left.

Articulation. She's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, torso pivot, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, calf swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. She cannot look up due to her hair. Her hair also hinders her from looking to the sides. Her legs are a little wobbly and caused some problems while posing.

Comparison shots.

Great figure! Glad she didn't get stuck in Limbo! Thanks for viewing!
