Marvel Legends Infinite Series Spider-Woman (Fierce Fighters)

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends Spider-Woman.

Spider-Woman is one of the first Marvel characters I came to know about, even before the likes of Captain America and Iron-Man. It's all due to the cartoon from the early 80s. Anyone else remember that? Anyway, Spider-Woman is a figure which needed an update. The Toy Biz version had long limbs and restrictive web wings. This Hasbro version is a beauty. She's got a great head sculpt. Her mask details were all sculpted and she also has lovely hair. The paint apps are decent. There's just some bleeding on her face from her mask. Her look is spot on to the comics. She's on the Ms Marvel body which suits her fine. Her costume has only paint details. I like the modern look with the darker red and bolder lines. There's a dark yellow wash on the yellow parts of her costume. It looks like someone scrapped the ab area on my figure. Sigh... that's the trouble when you don't get to choose from the pegs.

She comes with two sets of web wings, one set folded and the other open. I love that they included them instead of giving her a fixed set (think Black Bolt). The wings attach to her arms and stay on well. The open wings have great detail on them. It could maybe use some shading to bring out the detail more. There's only a couple good poses you can have with the open wings. They stick out awkwardly if she's posed without her arms spread open.

Articulation. She's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, torso pivot, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. Her hair hinders her from looking to the sides properly.

Comparison shots. Classic versus modern. Don't know why, but seeing the two Spider-Woman makes me fonder of the Toy Biz version.

Great figure! I'm glad this came out as I'm not liking her new costume. Thanks for viewing!
