Marvel Legends Infinite Series Guardians of the Galaxy Star Lord

You guys know who this is right? No? He's Peter Quill, aka Star Lord. Legendary outlaw... ahhh forget it.

Star Lord's got a great head sculpt. There's lots of detail on his mask. The front of his mask is not all smooth and has subtle lines on it. There are tubes running down the sides into cylinders which help him to breathe. The paint apps are good too. I love the trench coat. It looks superb. I like that it's got a black brushed on it. It gives it a worn, realistic look. And it's got great detail. The two sides of the coat are different. On his left shoulder is a brown patch with the flame logo of his comic costume sculpted in. Very nice. The trench coat is flexible and will allow for some good poses. His clothes have good fabric detail. The ab joint is a little unsightly. On his boots are thrusters sculpted on. I guess it's too much to ask for them to be able to rotate.

He comes with a number of accessories. There's his bag which is removable. I really like how it looks. It's made to look like soft leather.

He's got an interchangeable unmasked head. It's got a decent likeness to Chris Pratt. I think the hair was sculpted on too high. His eyes look odd. The pupils were not painted in properly. He comes with some headphones and his Walkman. The headphones are a little short. They rest on his hair and just manage to cover his ears. I would have preferred if the Walkman were black in colour. It kinda looks like a cake of soap.

There's also this orb thingy. It's very well sculpted with all the indentations. It's a little too big for Star Lord to hold in his hands. I think it will be revealed to be an Infinity Stone.

And he's also got two phaser looking type guns. They have nice sculpted and painted detail on them. He can hold them well.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. The elbow and knee joints are soft and rubbery. They make posing him a little troublesome.

Comparison shots.

This figure turned out better than I expected. Aside from the soft joints, I like it a lot. Thanks for viewing!
