Marvel Avengers Infinite Series 3.75" Wasp

Here's a look at the Avengers Infinite Series Wasp.

Wasp is on the current standard female base body. I think the head sculpt is okay. It's a little small. The paint makes her look bad. The eyes were painted looking up and her lipstick is smudged on her right. She looks like she's high or something. The paint of her costume on her upper torso is light and the black underneath is showing. Her lower torso is better. Her wings were made of soft, translucent plastic. They have nice sculpted vein patterns on them. There are two holes in her back where they attach to. They come off easily when you're fiddling with them.

Here's a better look at her wings. There are also tiny line detail in the wings which gives them a textured appearance. It's hard to see that here. The wings can be rotated at the peg and they each have a hinge. As the wings are soft, it takes some doing to use the hinge.

She's comes with a mini version of herself. It's a repaint of the figure from the Marvel Universe Secret Wars pack. What's great is the inside of her hand  and the soles of her feet have gold paint when they could have so easily be left unpainted.

Articulation. She's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, wrist swivel, torso pivot, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, calf swivel and ankle hinge and pivot.

Comparison shots.

Just a random group of Avengers. I picked whoever I came across.

Now hopefully Ant Man gets released. Thanks for viewing!

  1. All I have is Ironman...They hardly ever make their way down here to Mexico.

  2. Hopefully with the upcoming Ant-Man movie, we will get a Marvel Legends version of the Wasp. I think it's about time we get a new 6-inch Ant-Man, a Yellow Jacket, and Wasp as I've just mentioned.
