One more Spidey villain for you. Here's the movie version Iceman... I mean Electro.
Based on images online, the head sculpt has little resemblance to Jamie Foxx who plays Electro in the upcoming Amazing Spider-man 2 movie. His face is expressionless. He reminds me more of Dr Manhattan. On the right side of his head there's a sculpted cybernetic part. The body is new. There's some great detail on it. I especially like the bumpy areas, most notably around his silver collar. It looks like the suit was charred by electricity. There are also small burnt areas on the right side of his body and shoulders. The sprayed on blue paint on the shoulders and forearms is overdone to me. I think the suit is supposed to be all black and a light spray would have been enough to show some of his powers.
He comes with an interchangeable head and a pair of electric effect hands. I like the electricity effect coming out of his eyes. The electric effect hands are cool.
Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, calf swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. The ankle hinge is restricted by his boots design.
I was hoping Electro's parts would be compatible with Star Wars Black series figures. Electro's heads fit loosely on Darth Maul. I was unable to pull out the hands so I don't know if Electro's hands will fit. The electric hands would be great for the Sith. These two look don't look bad.
Comparison shots.
This is a decent figure. Thanks for viewing!
Yeah, just not feeling this version of Electro. Pass.
