Something abominable this way come.
A-Bomb is a variant and should be released in this wave as well. I have a bad feeling it's going the same way as the Marvel Legends variants...
Abomination uses the same body as the Marvel Universe Rhino with a new head sculpt and feet. I don't know if he appeared like this before. The look is not bad but I would preferred if he had the more horizontal lined look. The figure is stout. I think the head is too big. The head sculpt is great though, there's great detail on it. He's got the bumpy head, cracked facial lines and fin ears. He's got a mean expression too. Some of the black on his forehead is missing on my figure. That may be something you might want to take note of. I like the paint on his body. There's darker green shading on top of the base green and a very dark blackish green wash on his back, shoulders and thighs. He can stand very well thanks to his large two-toed feet.
Articulation. He's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, wrist swivel, torso pivot, ball hips, swivel hinge knees and ankle hinge and pivot.
Comparison shots.
I didn't really like the figure at first but the look is growing on me. Thanks for viewing!
I hope they hit here in Mexico.
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't look too bad, but the lack of blue trunks is a shame. I might get him if I see him, I do love my Marvel Legends Abomination!
ReplyDeleteBut I will certainly pick up A-Bomb if I see him, he'll be a great opponent to Red Hulk!
