Here's a look at the DC Universe Signature Collection Poison Ivy.
I think this is a good figure. Her hair in particular was very well done. It's very well painted. There's some black mixed in with the red. To top it off, there are several leaves strewn in it. Very nice. The head sculpt is good. She has on a steely gaze which suits her. There's not much detail on her body. The leaves on her suit are just about the only thing. There's a little bit of black wash on them to bring out the pattern of the leaves. The figure would look very plain if not for the vines accessories.
She comes with three vines. Two for her arms and one for her leg. They are meant for aesthetic purposes but you can use them as weapons.
Articulation. She's got a ball joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, single hinge elbows, wrists swivel, torso rotation, peg hinge hips, thigh swivel, single hinge knees, and ankle hinge. Her neck articulation is limited due to her hair.
I was previously using the DC Direct Hush Poison Ivy in the display. It's a little too tall to fit in with DCUC and it has trouble standing without the base. The sculpt and detail are great though.
Comparison shots.
Poison Ivy was a long overdue figure. The display feels more complete now. There are still plenty more of Batman's rogues gallery to go though. My most wanted would have to be Ra's al Ghul and Talia. Then there's Firefly, the Mad Hatter and Ventriloquist and Scarface etc. I think I would be satisfied if we got all those. Hope Mattel gets round to producing them. Thanks for viewing!

I would like a greenfaced Twoface though.
ReplyDeleteA green faced Two-Face was released in the Gotham City 5 pack.
