Star Wars The Black Series Reva (Third Sister) & Fifth Brother (Inquisitor)

Inquisitors! Third Sister and Fifth Brother to be precise.

I guess most of you would have finished watching the Disney Plus Obi-wan series by now. Even if you did not I'm sure you would know of the appearance of several Inquisitors in the show. Including Reva, the Third Sister which you see here. I felt she was okay. She was intelligent and cunning. She just needed something extra to stand out more.

The figure is new. My first thought was that she looked out of proportion. The torso looks stunted and the legs seem awfully long. The design of her attire is like that so it's accurate. She wears protective armour on her torso. Gloss plastic was used for it. The shoulder armour section and the belt are separate pieces. The padding on her upper arms too are separate pieces. They are attached at the shoulder joint so they will follow the arm when you rotate them. And they their position can be adjusted after you've posed her. There's an Imperial logo sculpted on her right upper arm padding. There's nice patterned detail on her legs. Her boots are textured. She has a soft goods cape which is tucked into her shoulder armour on the back. There's a split in the center up to about half way. It will need some straightening out out of the package.

The head sculpt is okay. There is a decent likeness. She reminds me of Moff Gideon due to her eyes. It's the eye shadow causing her to look that way. Also the lack of paint at her left lower lip is throwing me off. It seems as though she has a crooked mouth. I like how her hair turned out. There's great detail for the braids and I liked the darkened skin tone for the exposed areas in her hair.

Accessories. She comes with three lightsabers. All of the blades are removable.

Reva carries a single lightsaber, the one with the semi-circle design. It's the only lightsaber which may be carried on her person. The lightsaber may be split into two, hence the two extra sabers so she can dual wield them. I'm not a fan of the silver break in the design of the handle. It makes it seem very worn.

She's able to hold the lightsabers securely in her hands.

Next up Fifth Brother.

Wong is that you? Just kidding. The actor playing him in Kenobi is Sung Kang. His appearance is a little different of that in Rebels, notably the torso armour. He's wearing something like American football armour on top of his grey suit. It has some nice detail on it. I like that they gave it some paint as well. The same goes for the belt which is a separate piece. The upper arms with the horizontal lines design remind me of those plastic tubings. The Imperial logo was sculpted on both his upper arms. The grey areas is textured which is nice. The vertical line on his legs does not line up properly. His feet will be facing inwards if we we to do so. One thing which bugs me are his feet. They look too big.

Fifth Brother has a great head sculpt. The likeness is good. He also spots that uncomfortable look like he does on the show. I would be too if my face was strapped up like that. His skin tone is spot on and his facial features were well done. I would have liked him to look closer to how he did in Rebels. With a more sharper face. The "hat" has great detail on it. Does it have a cooling system built in? That would explain the "vents" on it. It also has some paint detail on it. In case you were wondering the hat is not removable.

Accessories. He comes with his lightsaber. The red blades are detachable.

His lightsaber has great detail on it. You can make out the little holes and knobs. It's mainly gunmetal in colour. It has a dark grey ring on the peg side. I forgot to take a pic of that. There's a peg on the handle of the lightsaber and you can have him carry it on his back. Because of the peg getting to hold his lightsaber properly can get annoying.

Articulation

Third Sister has a dumbbell joint upper neck, dumbbell joint lower neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel and up and down hinge wrists, ball joint waist, ball hips, thigh swivel, swivel hinge knees and ankle hinge and pivot. Her elbows can bend more than ninety degrees. As does her knees. There's not much forward bend at her waist. She can bend back and tilt to her sides better.

Fifth Brother has a dumbbell joint upper neck, dumbbell joint lower neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel and up and down hinge wrists, diaphragm joint ball hips, thigh swivel, swivel hinge knees and ankle hinge and pivot. The elbows and knees bend a little more than ninety degrees. There's hardly any forward bend. He can bend back and tilt to the sides better.

Comparison shots.

Both are nice figures. I'm looking forward to getting more Inquisitors! Thanks for viewing!
