The Hydra Stomper!
I'm really excited for The Hydra Stomper. I mean what's not to love about a big suit of armour. And I do mean big. It towers over regular sized characters. Hydra best beware. Its appearance resembles that of Tony's Mark I. Especially with regards to the helmet. It's of a similar shape and design. It t\has the big eyes and mouth slit. The light blue eyes give the sense that they are glowing. The same goes for the chest reactor. The suit is heavily armoured. It has a lot of thick plating on it. There's a good amount of sculpted detail. You can make out various panels, vents and also the rivets. The "belt" is a separate piece stuck on. Running down the left side of the body are some handrails for which the pilot can climb into the suit. An opening cockpit would have been nice. Seeing the articulation I believe it could have been done. Still I'm happy with what we got. The olive green reminds me of the Hammer drones in Iron Man 2. Very military like. The upper torso is of a slightly darker tone than the legs. I don't think you can make it out in the pics.
The Hydra Stomper has one major issue and that is it has some trouble standing. As you can see from the pic below his feet are kind of like slippers. The legs are not fully supported. He can stand okay in neutral positions. Posing is a challenge. It's already quite heavy and it's even worse when you equip his jet pack.
One benefit of the "slippers" is that the feet are able to hinge downwards more. And here you can the big ridges of his feet.
There's turrets on his right arm. The included blast effects cannot be used with it. Fortunately we have some regular sized ones lying around for it to borrow.
Accessories. He comes with an extra set of fists, his jet pack which comprise of three parts and two rocket blast effect pieces.
The jet pack has some nice detail on it. It too has panels and rivets on it. And also some tubing. The end of the rockets have some painted charred marks. It looks rather messy and I would have preferred it to be clean. Each rocket is on a hinge. They spread open when deployed. Doing so will revealed a handrail for Captain Carter to hang on too. Like we saw in the show. Equipping the jet pack will cause him to fall backwards. It'll need to lean forward in order to stand.
With the rockets deployed it's able to stand a bit better.
And here's the jet pack with the blast effects attached. It looks pretty cool.
Articulation. He's got a dumbbell joint neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel elbow hinge, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint waist, ball hips, thigh swivel, knee hinge, and ankle swivel hinge and pivot. He can look up and down decently. I would have liked if the range were better, especially for flying poses. The shoulder pads are connect to the shoulder joint and will follow the arms as they rotate. The pads are flexible and he has no issues extending his arms out to the sides. The "gauntlets" restrict the range of the wrists outwards. The elbows bend a little less the ninety degrees. The knees just about reach ninety degrees. There's hardly any bend or tilt at the waist. The waist joint will mainly be used for rotation.
He can raise his legs straight up about forty-five degrees. They can go further if you slant his legs out. You'll want to be careful when raising his left leg as the handrail will likely get caught at the hip. And also the thigh will get scuffed like I did to mine...
The action shots. Posing it is frustrating and difficult but it can be done.

This is really cool! I've been a bit on the fence about this one but if I see it in person or in stock somewhere online I imagine I'll go ahead and pick it up.
