This is Rogue in her X-men Legacy costume. The head sculpt is just okay to me. She looks pleasant but there's just something off about it. Her eyes painted looking up doesn't help matters. Her hair is tied into a ponytail. It has good shape and detail. The ponytail is flexible and will allow articulation. The white in her hair was painted. It would be nice if they gave it some shading to bring out the detail. The body reuses the arms and upper torso of the Mystique body. The mid-section and below is new. There's no belly button here and there's some creases detail at her abs area. The legs are the pinless sort. This is the first time I'm seeing it on a female figure. It looks good! The top of her boots (above her knees) were sculpted. Both the scarf and the skirt are separate pieces. The scarf actually comes hanging at the middle of neck. You'll want to force it down to her shoulders so it'll look better. The skirt was stuck on. The white deco was painted. It could be better. There's some slop and bleeding in spots but nothing too major thankfully. The X logo was painted on her upper torso and on both her arms.
A close-up of her mid-section. You can make out the creases in her costume just above the belt.
Accessories. She comes with an alternate angry head and a set of open hands.
Looking at the alternate head again, I think it's more of a disgusted expression than angry. I don't think I'll be using it often. I do like that her hair is swung out.
I did a head swap. It's a little small but this head does not look too bad on the 90s costume body.
Pyro now.
I initially had concerns with Pyro as he looked rather chunky in the promo pics. Holding it in hand it's not as bad as I thought. I would have preferred him slimmer but I'm okay with this. The body reuses the Sunfire body. The costume details such as at his torso and for the top of his boots were painted. He carries a flamethrower pack on his back. It has some nice sculpted detail on it. The pack and red top piece is one separate piece and is removable. The hoses may be disconnected from the pack and removed from his wrists if you like. I think he has a great head sculpt. The mask was sculpted. He's grinning and has an evil look about him. The hair was very well done. It even has some brown shading it in. Nice!
Accessories. Pyro comes with an alternate grinning head and two flame effects pieces.
I like the grinning head more. It suits him better. He looks more malicious with it.
The flame effects pieces are the same ones we've seen before. They go over the fists, which doesn't really work for Pyro. It's passable from the front view.
From the side view it looks odd. The flames should really be coming out from the nozzles.
So here's what I did. You can stick the flame "tails" into the nozzles and the effects pieces will hold. Try using the smaller tail if it drops out with the big tail. It's not ideal but we can get it to look half decent.
Articulation
Pyro has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, butterfly joints, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, calf swivel and ankle hinge and pivot.
Rogue has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. She can look up and down well. The skirt prevents her from raising her legs fully.
Comparison shots.
Both are nice figures. We could have done with better accessories. Maybe gloveless hands for Rogue. We definitely need more suitable flame effect pieces for Pyro. Thanks for viewing!

Cool review. Quite a difference from the last Pyro. We need Avalanche and Destiny to complete the New Brotherhood.
