GIJoe Classified Series Profit Director Destro

They may have labelled him as Profit Director Destro (PDD). But we all know what he's actually called. Lol. They even have the same initials. Coincidence? I think not.

There's not much to say about PDD really. He's a repaint of the figure we got in wave one. His mask is gold in colour. It has a shine to it but it's not as shiny as the silver on the previous figure. The leopard design was well painted on.

A quick comparison of the head sculpts. It reuses the same the head sculpt as the previous figure. For my figures anyway. I've heard that there's some wave one Destros with a slightly different head sculpt.

With the gold head we can now make our own Iron Grenadier Destro. Well.. sort of.

Accessories. He comes with a cape, shades, a stack of burning cash, a pistol and a suitcase.

There's great detail on the stack of cash. They actually sculpted some printing on it. You can also make out different layers where some of the cash has burnt away. Very nice! The flame is just the single orange colour. I would have liked if it had different tones in it.

Here's how he looks with the shades and cape. The cape fits tightly over his shoulders. You'll have to press it down to get it to fit properly as the collar gets in the way a little. The leopard pelt is textured and there's a bit of sculpted detail for the paws. I would have preferred if they made the pelt shorter. I find the tail distracting. We can see it from between his legs.

A closer look at the shades. The lenses have a purplish tint to them. It goes along well with the colour scheme he's wearing.

The shades will work with other normal sized characters with exposed ears.

It's a fun accessory to have.

The suitcase is similar to the one we got previously. This one is gold in colour. The cash inside is possibly a different currency for its pale green tone.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge upper neck, ball joint lower neck, ball hinge shoulders, butterfly joints, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel and up and down hinge wrists, ab crunch, ball joint waist, ball hips on drop down hinge, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, boot swivel and ankle hinge and pivot. The cape will get raised when you raise his arms up, making it look awkward.

Comparison shots.

This is a fun figure to have. He won't be part of the display but he will called upon for fun scenarios. The accessories are great too.  Thanks for viewing!
