Marvel Legends Series Wolverine & Lady Deadpool (Sauron BAF)

You know that break I was hoping for. Not going to happen... Here's a look at the Marvel Legends All New Wolverine and Lady Deadpool.

This is the All-New Wolverine. Laura Kinney, aka X-23 is the one in the costume. The figure looks pretty good. The head sculpt is fine. She has wind swept hair which I don't mind. I would prefer more neutral sort of hair but I guess the wind swept one allows for slightly better neck articulation. The body reuses the female teen body with new boots. Her belt is a separate piece. The paint apps are poor. There's quite a bit of slop in places and the lines are fuzzy. There's not enough yellow applied in areas and the blue underneath is visible. I do like the bright colour tones.

Anyone notice the holes in her boots? No? Well it's there and for good reason. It's so we can attach the foot claws! That's right, she has foot claws! Great to see! They are quite curved though and they remind me of a Velociraptor's claw. Notice anything else? Her boot soles which I think are new. It's not one clump like we've seen previously. The heel cap has a proper shape to it. Very nice!

She is able to stand well with claws attached as long as you don't point her feet downwards too much.

In addition to the foot claws, she also comes with an alternate unmasked head. The included BAF part is the left arm of Sauron.

The unmasked head has a good likeness. I like the angry, defiant look on her face. The head may be used on the X-23 figure as well.

Next up, Lady-D.

Lady Deadpool is a female Deadpool from another universe. The thing that stands out about her is her long ponytail. It has good shape and there's a bit of black shading in it. The hair is flexible and has no articulation for it. Do take care not to bend it too much. The body reuses the adult female body. Like with the Ashley Barton Spider-Girl. The harness, belt and thigh pouches are separate pieces. The thigh pouches don't stay on well and tend to slide down. The paint apps is good on this figure.

Accessories. She comes with two swords, Headpool and a stand. The swords are the same ones that come with Deadpool. Her grip of the swords is loose with her right hand and okay with her left. There is no proper storage for her swords. I would have liked if came with a gun or two. The included BAF part is the right leg of Sauron.

A closer look at Headpool. He's basically a zombie Deadpool who lost his body from another universe. The head has great sculpted detail. It's pretty gruesome. He wears a helmet with a propeller. That's his main means of getting around. The propeller may be turned. The stand is for Headpool. The head has a regular socket and a smaller hole which to place the head on the stand.

I tried out the head on some figures. It fits Deadpool but it looks a little small. It's a loose fit on the Ultimate Spider-man body.

Articulation

Wolverine has a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ball joint torso, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle hinge and pivot. She can look down well but not up due to her hair. Head rotation is slightly hindered. You need to take care how much you raise her legs. I somehow managed to cause paint rub...

Comparison shots.

Both nice figures. Like that Wolverine has her foot claws. Thanks for viewing!

The unmasked x-23 head would probably look good on white tiger
