I keep saying this every year. Hot Toys had a great booth at STGCC. I was hoping to see a 1/6 scale Millennium Falcon but that was not to be. At least we had a Tie Fighter which was cool to see. From it you can imagine just how big the Falcon must be. Another time perhaps.
Figure wise we were spoiled with the number of new and upcoming figures they had on display. The most notable one would have to be the Iron Man Mark III (Stealth Mode Version) which made its world premiere at STGCC. It was a convention exclusive and was available for sale at the event. It's limited availability saw many fans queueing over night.
Some exclusive items available for pre-paid order include Iron Man Mark XXIV (Tank), Maria Hill, the First Order Stormtrooper Squad Leader and Luke Skywalker in Stormtrooper disguise.
The recently announced First Order Stormtroopers and Kylo Ren from Star Wars: The Force Awakens were on display. It was great to see them up close.
Hot Toys always have great dioramas and this year there was the scene in the Millennium Falcon where Obi-Wan trains Luke.
"In my experience there's no such thing as luck."
And also the scene from Avengers: Age Of Ultron where the Avengers take on the Ultron bots.
"Is this the best you can do!?!"
Hot Toys also brought in the life-sized statues of the Iron Man Hulkbuster and the Hulk which was awesome to see!
Action City, the official distributors of Hot Toys here had a big display of "Jiang Shi" Be@rbricks. which made their world premiere at STGCC. They come in 3 different sizes. There's the 100%, the 400% and the 1000%. The first two were sold out at the event while the 1000% was available for pre-order. Now I don't follow this line but judging form the snaking queue which lasted at least half a day on both days, I think they are very popular.
The main display may be a little boring with the figures lined up in rows.
But leave it to the folks at Wonderfactory to make more interesting ones.
Moving on to Star Wars now with the setup by StarWarsSG and some shots of the characters from the 501st Legion Singapore and the Cathar Outpost Rebel Legion Singapore.
The LEGO display like in previous years featured some Easter Eggs. There was just a couple of them. There was Shaggy and Scooby being surrounded by Stormtroopers, the Simpsons family at the Cantina and George Lucas serving drinks.
Jar Jar getting eaten by the Rancor is a-okay by me. Lol.
On the action figures side of things they put up an amusing diorama of Jabba selling satay to the Stormtroopers.
The 501st Legion and Rebel Legion Singapore were raising funds for the KK Hospital Health Endowment Fund. A donation entitled you to Shoot the Trooper and take photos with them or with any character present at the time.
Here's a couple of shots of these fine folks.

That's all for now. Thanks for viewing!
